Description:

This training will provide you with a basic understanding of the standards landscape and the role of standards in the context of the AI Act. You will learn about the process of developing AI standards and how they interact with other regulations and sector-specific standards. You will also receive practical guidance on creating appropriate evidence for conformity assessment. The goal is to enable you to use AI standards for compliance purposes and engage with the relevant stakeholders.

Learning objectives:

• You will understand the motivation behind AI standards and their central role in the AI Act, particularly with regard to the conformity assessment of high-risk AI systems.
• You will gain an overview of the landscape of AI standards, their development process, and their current status.
• You will also understand the operational application of AI standards, particularly with regard to suitable evidence, relevant stakeholders, and sector-specific aspects.

Target audience: Product owners, project managers, middle managers, AI risk managers in SMEs and start-ups, and individuals required to perform conformity assessments in accordance with the AI Act.

Prerequisites: No prior knowledge of standards is required — the training is aimed at beginners in this field.

Dieses Training vermittelt Ihnen ein Grundverständnis von Normen und deren Rolle für Konformität gemäß dem AI Act. Sie lernen den Entstehungsprozess von KI-Normen kennen und verstehen ihre Interaktion mit anderen Regulierungen sowie sektorspezifischen Normen. Darüber hinaus erhalten Sie praktische Hinweise zur Erstellung geeigneter Nachweise für die Konformitätsbewertung. Das Ziel besteht darin, Sie zu befähigen, KI-Normen für die Konformität mit dem AI Act zu nutzen und relevante Stakeholder einzubinden.

Lernziele:

• Sie verstehen die Motivation für KI-Normen und deren zentrale Rolle im AI Act, insbesondere für die Konformitätsbewertung bei Hochrisiko-KI-Systemen.
• Sie erhalten einen Überblick über die Landschaft von KI-Normen und deren Stand Entstehungsprozess bzw. auf der Zeitwachse.
• Sie lernen Methoden zur operativen Anwendung von KI-Normen kennen, insbesondere mit Blick auf geeignete Nachweise, relevante Stakeholder und sektorspezifische Aspekte.

Zielgruppe: Produkt- und Projektverantwortliche, mittlere Führungsebene, technische Fachkräfte, AI Risk-Manager, Personen, und alle, die eine Konformitätsbewertung nach dem AI Act durchführen sollen.

Voraussetzungen: Vorkenntnisse zu Normen sind nicht erforderlich, da sich das Training explizit an Einsteiger in diesem Bereich richtet. Grundlagenwissen zum AI Act ist von Vorteil aber nicht essentiell (siehe Lernpfad 1).
